NDP 62: Chatting to Noobie Dentists Dr. Ricky Hamami and Dr. Zeyad Hammad

In this week’s episode I sat down with Dr. Ricky Hamami and Dr. Zeyad Hammad. I met these guys when they were first year dental students at Melbourne Dental school and it has been awesome now see them as fresh grads and noobie dentists. Ricky and Zeyad are from Canada and after completing their studies in Melbourne, have moved back to Toronto where they are both practicing in private practice. I connected with these guys due to our shared passion for entrepreneurship and these guys have taken things to another level. During dental school they launched Dentist2b, an online platform designed to helped dental students study for and crush the Canadian Board Exams.

NDP 61: Injection Overmolding Technique and Career Longevity with Dr. Jihyon Kim (@discingqueen)

Today’s Interview is with Dr. Jihyon Kim @DiscingQueen on Instagram based in Seattle Washington. This interview was recorded a few months ago prior to me heading over to Seattle to attend Kois and I had the awesome pleasure of meeting up with both Dr. kim and Brandon walker (@prosthabilities) for brunch while I was there. We ran into each other again at DIA a few days later where Dr. Kim taught a great session in injection over molding.

NDP 30: Introduction to Biomimetic Dentistry with Dr. Davey Alleman DMD

In this episode I interviewed Dr. Davey Alleman who is a young dentist based in the United States. He is currently a dentist in the military and practices biomimetic dentistry. Biomimetic dentistry is a hot topic and is an area of dentistry that I have personally been interested in and so this chat with Davey was an amazing way to learn more. This episode is by far one of my favourites in terms of the richness of the content; Davey did not hold back and really delivered unbelievable value during this interview. I am sure that you guys will learn a few things as well and I hope that it can impact your thought process and even clinical practice as much as it did for me. I strongly feel that biomimetic dentistry is the way of the future and something that we will look back on in 10-15 years and wonder why we used to cut teeth for retention.

NDP 55 – All Things Endodontics with Dr. Mehdi Rahimi and Dr. Mark Johnstone

In this week’s episode I had the great opportunity to sit down with two of Australia’s premier endodontists Dr. Mehdi Rahimi and Dr. Mark Johnstone. Dr. Mehdi Rahimi is an endodontist based in Sydney, Australia. He is an adjunct associate professor at Charles Sturt University and is involved in endodontic continuing professional development teaching at various levels both throughout Australia and abroad. Dr. Mark Johnstone is an endodontist based in Melbourne and is also involved in teaching in continuing professional development courses and just recently completed his Masters of Health and Medical Law at the University of Melbourne. Mark was completing his endo post grad while I was a dental student at Melbourne Dental school so he was also one of my endo demonstrators in dental school.
